Description

Item up for bid is an astounding bronze sculpture of a fox by noted Wyoming wildlife artist Vince Valdez (b. 1940). Sculpture is signed under the rear leg with a date from the 1990's that we cannot quite make out and a number of 63 of only 500 made. Sculpture sits upon a thick, square alabaster base that shows a few areas of surface wear / scratches along the edges with some light spots of stone bruising visible under the surface. Stone shows no chips, cracks or breaks with surfaces showing some light soiling so new owner may wish to polish. Bronze sculpture itself shows some soiling in nooks and crannies with with surface patina consistent with age. Bronze shows no chips, cracks or breaks. Sculpture itself measures 5" top to bottom by 5" front to back by 3" across the widest point. Alabaster base measures 2" top to bottom by 5" across the widest point by 5" front to back.
