Description

Here we have a beautiful Shiner, out of Saginaw Michigan, carved by R. Hoppe. Presenting with painted silver belly, and a green on the upper back regions, with red-accenting painted on the tail and head. The Fish has finely carved gills and mouth, small nail-eyes, and bare metal surface on all of the fins. The Fish is 4 1/8" long. The Fish is in great condition, possibly never fished, with signs of ultra-light use and wear with a patina appropriate to its age. A Beauty. A treasure of a Fish from Michigan, and the North Woods.
