Description
Here we have a beautiful hand made, carved wood Herring, out of Michigan. Circa 1950's. Presenting with painted metal fins, painted black eyes, with carved mouth and gills. Painted a buff cream coat over the belly, a light grey rises up the sides to blend into a darker grey on back. A silver-wash is subtly applied on the sides, along with a multitude of black speckling. Measuring 8" long. The Fish is in very good, solid condition, with signs of light use, and with an appropriate patina to its age. A piece of History out of Michigan. I have adding a packing and materials cost of $5.00 to the shipping fee. Always packed very well.
