<![CDATA[<div>Beautifully sculpted effigy of Austrian composer Johann Strauss Jr., famous for composing 500 waltzes and who was known as The Waltz King. This piece by mid century Italian sculpture house G. Ruggeri is made of alabaster and stands a little over 9" tall and about 2" wide. The detail is amazing and the condition is incredible considering the age. Originally purchased by a world traveler with an interesting life story in the 1960s.
