Description
Here we have a wonderful and dramatic Sucker Fish Decoy out of Michigan, made by a carver unknown to me. Circa 1980's. This larger Fish, measuring 9 1/4', is painted a white across its belly and up the sides, which soon blends into a light green which darkens as the green rises across the fishes back. White, light yellow and black dabs and mottling effect is applied all along the sides in a very pleasing manner. The gills and mouth are carved, and large domed tacks are the eyes. The Fish is in excellent condition, being unused to date, having lived a life on a shelf, it has a mellow patina appropriate to the use and age of the fish. A small packing fee is include in the shipping total.
