Artisan made spearfishing "Prangers", made the oldschool way! I have endeavored for these to be the highest quality pranger currently available on the market. The bases are personally machined by me out of solid bronze! instead of the common brass, to ensure that the base can be used over many, many different sets of barbs. All models are made with the slimmest bases appropriate for the size of the barbs to ensure the lowest drag possible These are using Mustad barbs just like old prangers used to use, and are the best barb going around. They are hand soldered in by myself and careful attention is paid to the spread and straightness of the barbs. They feature a narrow spread which is much more difficult to make than a wide spread, but have greater accuracy, durability and less drag. While I do my absolute best to ensure these barbs stay put as long as possible, it is to be expected that after a certain amount of abuse the heads will likely need to have the solder reflowed, which is not too difficult. Items are made to order/ a small amount of fresh stock may be on hand. Processing time will be approximately a week for items made on the spot, and sent the same or next day for items on hand already. I will message you if any delays are expected on your order.
