Description

Here we have a beautiful hand made, carved wood Perch, or a Trout,?, a Mikko Fish. Circa 1980's. Presenting with metal fins, and nicely carved gills and mouth, each accented in red. The Fish is painted a lighter yellow under the belly, which blends into an olive higher up its sidesand back. There is a very nice abstracted dappled effect in brown and black that is rhythmically applied along the sides. Big cream-painted moon eyes. 6 1/2" long. The Fish is in very good condition, with light signs of use or ware, and a patina appropriate to its fine old age. All original and intact. A Beauty.
