This is a very fine quality large Antique Hand Carved Alabaster Stone sculpture of a young maiden. The Sculpture is one of a few that we have listed this week and comes from a very fine estate in Pennsylvania. The Bust features very nicely detailed carvings throughout and she has a lovely look to her, much nicer in real life to be honest. The sculpture is unsigned but most likely Italian and dating upwards of 100 years old. She is a fairly large and impressive figure that would make a wonderful display in your own home or make an amazing gift for someone special. Being sold, as always, to the highest bidder without reserve ! Condition : The Bust is in good condition with some minor imperfections, please refer to all the photos which serve as the condition report. We have not attempted to clean it in any way, we prefer to leave items estate fresh. Size : The Figure measures approx. 16-3/4 inches tall by 9-1/2 inches wide. Weighing about 7.5kgs or 17 pounds.
