Elegant, Signed A. SANTINI Art Deco Sculpture, Woman Dancer. 15" high ,12" wide. Featuring a graceful dancer with flowing dress. Great detail and craftsmanship. These sculptures are typically made from a blend of marble, alabaster and resin resulting in a smooth finish. Two tiny chips (pictures 7,8) a few smudges (pictures 9,10) Amilcare Santini was born 1910, Cecina, Italy. After an apprenticeship with a renowned sculptor he started his own workshop in 1958 with his son Nedo. He passed away 1975. The Santini family has continued this tradition. A Santini sculptures are highly regarded for their intricate detailing and beautiful finishes. My listings are mostly all used, vintage or antique co ndition.
