very early primitive Alabaster hand carved and painted stone fruit watermelon slice. One of the most desirable of fruits for the collector. the black lines you see are the natural veining of the alabaster showing through. a few very minor scuffs and fleabites but for its age is in fabulous condition The other pieces on ebay at the moment are well over $1000. and worth it but I would like to see this go to a good home so I have priced it well below.
