Description

Here is a very collectible and difficult to find, swimming beaver by Minnesota fish spearing decoy maker David Perkins (deceased). It has carved legs and each rear leg is fitted with a metal spinner. The eyes are glass. The tail is made fromwhat appears to be leather and also has carved details. The decoy is hand made and hand painted. It is signed DFD (Duluth Fish Decoys) in the belly weight and is around 20-25 years old. I bought this one directly from David Perkins many years ago.
