ANTIQUE SCHUMACHER AUSTRIA ALABASTER GIRL CHILD WITH DOG SCULPTURE STATUE Up for sale is this charming antique Austrian sculpture. The alabaster sculpture features a nicely detailed young girl with a dog. The marble base has the Henry Schumacher Foundry mark as shown. There appears to be a signature on the back of the girl in the alabaster (see photo), but I'm unsure whose signature it is. The Schumacher foundry made bronze and alabaster busts and full-length figures from about 1900 to the 1920s. CONDITION - The sculpture is in antique, pre-owned condition. There are some small bumps here and there and some discoloring. I tried to capture these well in the photos. I have not attempted to clean this item. Please be advised, alabaster is water soluble and needs proper care for cleaning. SIZE - Sculpture stands approximately 4.5" tall and is approximately 4.5" tall at the widest past of its base.
