Mr. Anderson was a recognized ice decoy carver and there is lots of available information on Mr. Anderson on the Internet. His decoys have a very distinct look. The lead decoy weights are stamped usually “AWA.” The decoys we have by this carver have multiple line attachments and what we call a modified angel wing metal fin design. Mr. Anderson passed away and his decoys are becoming more collectible. He did his carving in the Floyd Lake, Detroit Lake, MN area. This ice decoy has a sparkle finish. Ice decoys make great collectibles and prices are rising. Check out the pictures!
